Ways to Pay

There are several ways you can pay your CURRENT property tax bill.

By Mail: Please mail the tear off portion of your tax bill along with your check. Make the check payable to “Jeffery S Mamarella Tuscarawas County Treasurer”. Your envelope MUST be postmarked by the last day of the collection; otherwise Ohio law requires the assessment of an automatic 10% penalty and interest. The closing date for the collection is on your bill.

In Person: The Treasurer’s Office is in the County Annex Building, at 125 High Avenue, New Philadelphia Ohio. Our normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you pay in person, you must do so by the last day of the collection to avoid an automatic 10% penalty.

Monthly Coupons: You can arrange to have your property taxes pre-paid in easier-to-handle monthly installments by signing up for the EASYPAY coupon program. Call (330) 365 – 3254.

At the Bank: Several local banks will accept your tax payment at a bank branch and forward it to the Treasurer’s office. Check with your bank to see if they provide this service.

ACH Direct Debit:     The Treasurer will process ACH debits for your Real Estate taxes.

Payment Drop Box: We now have a 24 hour payment drop box located on 1^st Dr., NE, New Philadelphia, between Chase Bank and the County Annex Building.

Credit Cards:     We now accept credit cards, debit cards and e-check payments; however our credit card payment provider charges a convenience fee.
